Nicholas Savona has over 20 years of investment industry experience as an equity trader, chief compliance officer, and adjudicator, including executive roles in sales and service at various firms from traditional broker dealers, large scale and boutique—to electronic crossing networks with global reach. Nick is an advocate of intrapreneurship; his creation of a “Cross Border/Northbound” trading desk is one example of the potential to build a business within a bank-owned dealer. At the same time, Nick contributed to the regulator side of the industry as a member of IIROC’s Ontario District Hearing panel from 2010-2019. He serves as a member of IIROC’s Ontario District Council, the Montreal Exchange’s Disciplinary Committee and is a former member of the OSC’s Market Structure Advisory Committee. Nick holds an LL.M from Osgoode Hall Law School with a specialty in Securities Law.

Pauline Lieberman recently retired as the Manager, Human Resources and Council Relations at the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. I was employed for almost twenty-two years and started when the College infrastructure was being developed. I participated in the College's growth from a small (6 staff members) to a mid-size regulator with 44 staff members. As the College grew, I became familiar with Regulation and the importance of viewing all matters through a public protection lens. I worked with both elected and appointed Council members and enjoyed meeting so many wonderful Ontarians who committed themselves to serve Ontario's multicultural community. I also played a role in the College's Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) sub-Committee and had the privilege of participating in training sessions in this area. Now that I have the time, I would like to use my knowledge and understanding of the regulatory sector to benefit the people of Ontario.
