PAULINE (AKA PAT) LIEBERMAN

Pauline Lieberman, of Toronto, is the former Manager of Human Resources and Council Relations with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. She is a former Manager of the Family Life Education Program with Jewish Family and Child Service. Her community involvement has included serving as a member of the HR Network Professionals for Ontario Regulators.

JACKIE SCHLEIFER TAYLOR

As President and CEO of the London Health Sciences Centre, Dr. Jackie Schleifer Taylor leads one of Canada’s largest research-intensive teaching hospitals. Guided by values of quality, equity and accountability, Jackie is a registered physiotherapist who is deeply rooted in her clinical and academic background. She has more than 25 years of experience in health system leadership with a proven track record in strategy execution. As a policy expert, her areas of expertise are quality and performance measurement, professional regulation, and inter-professional care and education. Recognizing the importance of volunteerism, Jackie has served on the boards of service provider organizations, government advisory committees and national and international think tanks. She is an active mentor to students and emerging leaders seeking a greater understanding of health systems and their optimization in service delivery and models of care.

NICHOLAS SAVONA

Nicholas Savona has over 20 years of investment industry experience as an equity trader, chief compliance officer, and adjudicator, including executive roles in sales and service at various firms from traditional broker dealers, large scale and boutique, to electronic crossing networks with global reach. Nick is an advocate of intrapreneurship; his creation of a “Cross Border/Northbound” trading desk is one example of the potential to build a business within a bank-owned dealer. At the same time, Nick contributed to the regulator side of the industry as a member of IIROC’s Ontario District Hearing panel from 2010-2019. He serves as a member of IIROC’s Ontario District Council, the Montreal Exchange’s Disciplinary Committee and is a former member of the OSC’s Market Structure Advisory Committee. Nick holds an LL.M from Osgoode Hall Law School with a speciality in Securities Law.
