Greenbelt Council

MICHAEL FOWLER

Mike Fowler is a retired lawyer who practiced in Port Perry for nearly 40 years. Mike’s practice included Land Use Planning work within the Greenbelt and the Oak Ridges Moraine for farming clients and small-scale developers. This involved representing clients before various tribunals including the Ontario Municipal Board. Mike chaired the Port Perry Ducks Unlimited committee, chaired the fund-raising efforts to build the new library in Port Perry, worked with the local hospital foundation and is a member of the Port Perry Rotary Club. Mike and his wife Joanne continue to reside in Port Perry.

JOHANNA DOWNEY

Johanna Downey was born and raised in Caledon; she was elected to Peel Regional Council in 2014. With a degree in Interior Design and Architecture, Johanna is self-employed as a freelance design consultant and is co-owner of Stone House Masonry. Her many boards and committees serving Caledon and Peel include: Credit Valley Conservation; Caledon Community Service; Peel Region Growth Management; Heritage Caledon; Peel Internet Safety; Peel Housing; and Cheltenham Badlands Management Team.

HEATHER FRENCH

Heather French lives on a grain farm in the Town of Caledon surrounded by the Greenbelt, Oak Ridges Moraine. She is self employed and is owner operator, along with her husband, of a large-scale grain farm and a Sales Representative for Pioneer. Heather is a director on the Albion & Bolton Agricultural Society and the Peel 4-H Council. She is the recipient of the Diamond Jubilee Medal and the Town of Caledon Volunteer Community Recognition Award.

PATRICK MOLLOY

Pat Molloy has served in the Township of Uxbridge as Councilor, Deputy Mayor and Mayor. He has served as Chair and Vice Chair on numerous committees and service organizations for most of his career. He also served on the Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority Board of Directors. Pat is self-employed in the printing industry and continues to work as a dedicated volunteer within his community.
