Sandie Bellows is currently a City Councillor for Grantham Ward. She is also a Tournament Director for Niagara Sports & Entertainment. Community involvement includes board membership for the St. Catharines PC Riding Association, Crimestoppers of Niagara and Niagara Grape and Wine Festival as well as volunteer work with other organizations. She has a Certificate in Sales and Marketing from Seneca College.
APRIL JEFFS is currently a Photographer and Owner/Operator of April Jeffs Lakeside Studio. She is a former Mayor for the Township of Wainfleet as well as former Regional Councillor for the Regional Municipality of Niagara. Her community involvement includes serving as Director of the Welland Heritage and Multi-Cultural Centre as well as various roles with other organizations such as St. John Ambulance, Niagara Children's Centre, United Way Niagara Therapy Tails Niagara and Wainfleet Minor Softball Association. She has a Tourism Degree from Niagara College.
Eldon Bennett is a Partner at Aird & Berlis LLP. He is a former Lecturer at York University. His community involvement has included serving as a member of the Toronto Hospital Foundation and of the Toronto Hospital Research Foundation. Mr. Bennett holds a Bachelor of Arts from York University, a PhD from Duke University and a J.D from the University of Toronto.
Ian Nielsen-Jones holds a Master of Arts (Economics) from McMaster University and is currently Senior Competition Expert with the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development. He has previously held several senior positions including Assistant Deputy Commissioner of Competition with the Competition Bureau of Canada, President and CEO of Entertainment Management Group Limited and Online International Corporation, President and COO of CUE Network Corporation, Managing Director of The Rank Organisation Plc, President of the Ontario Lottery Corporation, and Deputy Director of Investigation and Research with the Bureau of Competition Policy. Mr. Nielsen-Jones was an Advisory Member with the Consumer's Council of Canada from 2006 to 2011. Previous community involvement includes serving as a Board Member for the Economic Development Corporation of Sault Ste. Marie, Algoma University College Foundation, Plummer Memorial Hospital, and the United Way of Sault Ste. Marie.
Sylvie Chartrand-Rafi worked for Statistics Canada from 1987-2017 until her retirement. Her skills and experience are in the areas of Census and Advisory Services: strategic planning, customer service, marketing and public relations. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honour) degree in Human Geography from Ottawa University. Ms. Chartrand-Rafi's community work has included serving in Protocol at the Invictus Games. Ms. Chartrand-Rafi is fully bilingual in both official languages of Canada.
Lord Mayor Betty Disero is serving her first term as Lord Mayor of the Town of Niagara-on-the-Lake and is a member of Regional Council. She was a Toronto School Board trustee from 1982 to 1985, a Councillor for the City of Toronto from 1985 to 2003 and a Councillor for the Town of Niagara-on-the-Lake from 2014 to 2018. She was President of Boomer Consulting Corporation from 2003 to 2017 and also worked at the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation from 1979 to 1982. Lord Mayor Disero’s community involvement includes being a member of the Rotary Club of Niagara-on-the-Lake, the Niagara-on-the-Lake Historical Society and Friends of Fort George.
Graham Coveney is currently a Financial Advisor and Planner for TD Bank. His community involvement includes serving as a board member for Central Community Church and participating in youth hockey coaching activities. He holds a CFP designation from the Financial Planning Standards Council and a CSC/PFP from Canadian Securities Institute.
Natasha DiCienzo is a Wealth Advisor with Scotia Wealth Management. She has pervious work experience with MGM Resorts International in Las Vegas and with Falls Avenue Resort in Niagara Falls. Natasha's community involvement includes serving as a member of the Investment Committee of the Niagara Community Foundation. Natasha has a Honours Business Administration, with distinction, from Ivey Business School of Western University.
