Agriculture, Food And Rural Affairs Appeal Tribunal


Glenn Walker is a retired lawyer and practiced law in the Municipality of Chatham-Kent for 42 years. Mr. Walker has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Western Ontario and a Juris Doctor degree from Queen's University. He is a Deputy Judge of the Ontario Small Claims Court and past Chair of the Kent County District Health Council, the Public General Hospital Board, and a past President of the Kent Law Association. Mr. Walker is also a member of the Law society of Ontario and the Ontario Deputy Judges Association.


James McIntosh received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Queen's University in 1978. During his career, he spent 2 years working for Warren Bilulithic Ltd, and 10 years with the Town of Perth, as the Town Engineer before starting an engineering company, now known as McIntosh Perry Consulting Engineers. He fully retired from MPCE in 2014. Jim is still a member of the Association of Professional Engineers of Ontario and is a past-designated Consulting Engineer. He has served on a variety of non-profit boards, including Algonquin College Board of Governors (2011-2015), which he was Chairman of the board for 3 years, Perth and District Community Foundation, The Table (Perth food bank) VON and others. Mr. McIntosh also served on several for-profit boards, which he has retired from.


John McBride is a retired Drainage Engineer and Senior Project Manager at R.J. Burnside & Associates Ltd. He is a former Partner/Consulting Engineer at Maitland Engineering Services Ltd. His community involvement includes serving as Chair of the Wingham and District Hospital, Director of the Wingham and District Hospital Foundation and a board member of the Lions Club of Wingham. Mr. McBride holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from the University of Guelph.


CHRISTINE GREYDANUS is Co - Owner /Operator at Greyda Plains Poultry Ltd. and the Chief Financial Officer at Enniskillen Pepper Co. Ltd. She is a Former Associate Lawyer at Ronald C. George Law as well as a former Councillor with the Township of Enniskillen from December 2003 to December 2010 and January 2012 to December 2014. Her community involvement includes being a volunteer construction worker with Habitat for Humanity Global Village Canada. Ms. Greydanus has a Master of Business Administration in Food and Agribusiness from the University of Guelph and Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School.


Katie Deblock is currently a Lawyer at Monteith Ritsma Phillips Professional Corporation as well as a Farmer at Boersma Family Farms Ltd. She is formerly a Judicial Clerk at the Ontario Superior Court of Justice. Community involvement includes serving as a board member at Perth Care for Kids.


Tricia Schouten is currently a self-employed lawyer. Her community involvement includes serving as a committee member at Richmond Agricultural Society and as President of Saddle & Harness. She completed the Commerce program at Queen's University and has a LLB from Osgoode Hall Law School.


Brandi Neil is a Lawyer and Office Manager with Evans & Adams and a per diem Assistant Provincial Crown Attorney. She is formerly employed as a Municipal Prosecutor, Provincial Offences Court at the Town of Caledon. Brandi’s community involvement includes serving as Coordinator of the Battle of the Books Program for Mono Amaranth Public School. Brandi is a member of the Law Society of Ontario.


is the former Owner of Stevens Irrigation. His community involvement includes serving as a Director of the Courtland/Tillsonburg Flying Club. He is a member of Land Improvement Contractors of Ontario, Canadian Owners and Pilots Association and Ultralight Pilots Association of Canada.


is a Treasurer at Flesherton united Church Charge, and a Finance Manager at Creative Marketing & Communications. His community involvement includes serving as a Treasurer and Event Coordinator at Grey Highlands Secondary School 50th Reunion Committee


is a General manager at Koroneos Farm Ltd, a District Committee Representative at Chicken Farmers of Ontario, and a former Board Director for Farm Fresh Poultry Co-op Inc. His community involvement includes serving as a Board Director with the Greek Community of Niagara and District.


Sarah Judd is a farm operator at Meadow Lynn Farms which encompasses dairy, strawberry, cashcrop, and vegetable production. Ms. Judd is also a teacher at the local college and agricultural consultant in Nutrient Management. She currently sits on the board of the Simcoe and District Hortibultural Society and is a leader for Norfolk 4-H. Ms. Judd holds an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Toxicology from the University of Guelph.


Judy Dirksen is a Class 10 AALP Grad and a primary producer. Working with her husband, son & daughter-in-law on their family farm they raise cattle, grow crops & provide farm custom work services in the area. Dirksen Ag Enterprises Inc. was created in 2015 when the Dirksen Family changed their business structure and officially included members of the next generation. Judy has significant experience as a board member having served 20 years to date on the Ontario Veal Association/Veal Farmers of Ontario boards with 10 years as chair. She was also a director and chaired the Agricultural Adaptation Council board and the Presidents' Council. She is currently a Council Member in the Town of Minto, and volunteers locally in the community.
