Function

The board is the liaison between the Ontario Association of Architects and the Association of Professional Engineers of Ontario and assists them in maintaining their affiliation.

Membership

The Council of the Ontario Association of Architects appoints three members and the Council of the Association of Professional Engineers of Ontario appoints three members. The Lieutenant Governor in Council appoints the chair after requesting and considering the views of each association's council.

Term

There is no limitation in legislation.

Meetings

The board meets at least four times a year. Minimal preparation and no travel is required for meetings.

Remuneration

Appointees are remunerated according to Schedule A, Level 2 of the Agencies and Appointments Directive.
