- Function
The corporation develops, undertakes, organizes, conducts, and manages "lottery schemes" (which includes casino gaming, lottery, electronic product in charitable gaming centres etc.) on behalf of the province of Ontario.
- Membership
The members of the corporation form and are its board of directors. The Lieutenant Governor in Council appoints not less than five members and may designate a chair and a vice-chair from among the members of the board of directors.
- Term
There is no limitation in legislation.
- Meetings
- The full board meets approximately ten to twelve times a year.
- Remuneration
Appointees to Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation are remunerated $500 per diem except for the Chair, who is remunerated at a rate set by the Lieutenant Governor in Council.
