FARRELL, RONALD M.
Ronald M. Farrell is the former President and CEO of the Victorian Order of Nurses and previously served as Director General of the Canadian Red Cross. Mr. Farrell worked as a Senior Manager for 20 years in the Government of Canada in various ministries including Health and Welfare, and was Regional Director of Northern Ontario for the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board of Ontario. His community involvement has included serving as a member and Chair of the North East Community Care Access Centre. He is a former member of the Council of the Ontario College of Pharmacists. Mr. Farrell holds a Bachelor of Science in Medical Sciences from Laurentian/McMaster Universities.


MORRIS, KIM
Kim Morris graduated from Laurentian University with a BA in Political Science, and holds a Masters in Communications Management from McMaster University. Kim is currently the Dean of the School of Health Sciences at Collège Boréal. Prior to that, Kim was the Director of Communications at the North East Community Care Access Centre for five years, and Manager of Communications and Administrative services at the Conseil scolaire catholique du Novel-Ontario. Amongst other community involvement, Kim is incoming Chair of Heads of Health Sciences of Colleges Ontario and member of a Montfort / MOHLTC HR / FLS Planning Committee.


FEBBRARO, JOHN
John Febbraro is the Director of Business Development for the Sault Ste. Marie Economic Development Corporation, a position he's held since 2001. Previous positions include President of a small Business consulting group to develop management systems. John has held positions with the Canadian Space Agency through FirstMark Technologies Consulting and EH Industries in a program management capacity. Mr. Febbraro's community involvement includes serving on the Algoma Residential Community Hospice Financial Committee and has included serving on the Algoma Residential Community Hospice Board of Directors and as President of the Canadian Cancer Society Board of Directors.


PALUMBO, MARK
Mark Palumbo is President of Palumbo Family Holdings Company Ltd. Previously, he was the President and Owner of Dowling Pharmacy Ltd. from 1971-2007. He currently serves on the boards of Sudbury Community Foundation, Montessori Club of Sudbury, and as a Senior Advisor to Music and Film in Motion. Mr. Palumbo holds a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the University of Toronto.


STONE, ELIZABETH
Elizabeth Stone is a university graduate and a retired school teacher. She has more than four decades of experience as a volunteer with multiple organizations on a governance level. These involvements specifically pertained to the enhancement of quality of life for all citizens, but most particularly those citizens with challenges. Ms. Stone firmly believes that the uniqueness of the North requires that the solutions for the North are to be found in the North.

STEWART, ANNE
Anne Stewart is a semi-retired, former property manager and public health inspector for the City of Toronto. She is a Certified Professional Member of the Canadian Institute of Public Health Inspectors (CIPHI) and a member in the Ontario Public Health Association. Ms. Stewart is currently an independent environmental health educator, a small business owner, and a healthy home consultant. She is active in water protection and community events, being a member for several boards including her local cottage association, the Georgian Bay Association, and the French River Visitor Centre First Nation Aboriginal Advisory Committee.

WALL, PETRA
Petra Wall is a former Registered Outpatient Dietitian with the Manitoulin Health Centre and former Registered Dietitian with Manitoulin Centennial Manor and Gore Bay Lodge. Her community involvement includes being a member of the North East Community Care Access Centre, a participant of the Assisted Living Project in Manitoulin, and former Chair of the Cambrian College Manitoulin Advisory Group and Manitoulin Community Withdrawal Management Services. Ms. Wall holds a Master of Health Sciences degree in Administration from Central Michigan University, a Bachelor of Science degree in Foods and Nutrition from the University of Alberta and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Windsor.

BÉRUBÉ, DENIS
Denis Bérubé is Executive Director of North Claybelt Community Futures Development Corporation. He is also a former Camp Director/Social Worker with North Cochrane District Family Services. His community involvement includes serving as Chair of the North Eastern Ontario Communications Network and Vice-Chair of the Northern College of Applied Arts & Technology Board of Governors. Mr. Bérubé holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Ottawa.

DUPUIS, LORRAINE G.
Lorraine Dupuis is a retired school teacher. She worked for the Sudbury and District Catholic School Board for 33 years as a science, history, and mathematics teacher and served as acting vice-principal. Mrs. Dupuis is a former member of the board of Science North and the Ontario Film Review Board. Mrs. Dupuis holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Laurentian University.

ST-AMOUR, CHERYL
Cheryl St-Amour has worked in municipal, provincial, and federal levels of government as well as crown corporations, construction, and private consulting. She was instrumental in attracting key industries and investment to Northern Ontario during her time in economic development. Ms. St-Amour is an active community volunteer, focusing on organizations dedicated to education, child welfare, and the elderly. Ms. St-Amour holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Toronto and a Respiratory Therapy Diploma from Canadore College. She also holds designations from the Economic Developers Association of Canada as well as the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario.
