TERRY BENDER

Terrance (Terry) Richard Bender retired in March 2012 as a Detective after serving 37.5 years with the Ontario Provincial Police. The last 14 years of his career, he was seconded to the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) where he was tasked with maintaining the honesty and integrity of licenced gaming in the Province of Ontario. He is presently a member of the Board of Directors for the Cobourg Legion Village and has been for the past 5 years. He also served on the Board of Directors for the Alderville First Nations Women's Shelter until he was transferred to the AGCO. He is also a member of the Royal Canadian Legion for the past 36 years where he was on the executive and various committees.
