NADEEM AKBAR

Nadeem Akbar brings over two decades of global experience delivering complex technology and business solutions for multinational corporations. Nadeem has been actively involved in community service since 2006, currently a resident of the Milton-Burlington area. He ran as a federal Candidate in the 2021 and 2025 elections, advocating for public safety and community well-being. Appointed to the Halton Police Services Board, Nadeem offers a deep commitment to building safer communities through collaboration, transparency, and accountability. He is a strong believer in creating a secure environment for future generations. A value rooted in his role as a father of three and husband to Dr. Saima Nadeem. His volunteer work with various local organizations reflects his dedication to service. Outside of his professional and community roles, Nadeem enjoys playing cricket and soccer with local teams. He is proud to contribute to the continued safety and prosperity of Halton Region.

NAVDEEP DHALIWAL

Navdeep (Nav) Dhaliwal holds an MBA from Smith School of Business at Queens University. Currently serves as a Regional Manager in Commercial Banking for RBC Royal Bank of Canada, and a former National Manager of Franchise Markets for CIBC. His community involvement has included serving as a Treasurer for Clarkson Business Improvement Association. In addition, he mentors youth in the community.

RODNEY DOBSON

Rodney Dobson is an accomplished executive with a record of leading innovation, operational excellence, and organizational transformation across technology, healthcare, and professional services in Canada and internationally. He now works mainly with start-ups and early-stage companies, and in the not-for-profit sector. His governance experience includes public and private companies, a hospital, a government agency, and a national sport governing body. Raised on a family farm in northern Alberta, Rod holds an MA from York University and is a Chartered Director. His leadership is grounded in integrity, collaboration, and a belief in the power of people and purpose to drive lasting success.
