Appointee Biographies

ROBERT EDMONDSON

Robert has been the Chair of the Halton-Hamilton Source Protection Committee since 2014. He was the former Director of Watershed Management Services for the Halton Region Conservation Authority (Conservation Halton). During his 38 years of experience with Conservation Halton, he oversaw all aspects of watershed management including engineering, ecology, environmental planning and land resource services. Robert was responsible for planning for the Drinking Water Source Protection Program since its inception on behalf of Conservation Halton. He coordinated the appointment of the Chair and members for the Source Protection Committee and as staff liaison to the Committee he provided input to the development of the Terms of Reference, Assessment Reports and Source Protection Plan to meet the obligations of the Clean Water Act. Robert obtained his Honours Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toronto. He is a resident of the City of Burlington.
