CAROL ANNETT
Carol Annett, of Toronto, is the former President and Chief Executive Officer of VHA Home HealthCare. Her community involvement includes serving as a peer surveyor for Accreditation Canada, as a student mentor for York University’s Schulich School of Business, and as Board Chair for Sunnybrook Health Sciences.
KATHLEEN FYFE
Kate Fyfe is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Timmins and District Hospital. With over 30 years of senior executive experience, Kate brings a wealth of experience in acute care, mental health, and health system settings. Kate has worked collaboratively with system partners to improve accountability, performance, access to care and quality outcomes. Kate has also led a variety of transformational projects related to care delivery and the implementation of broad structural changes to our health system. Active in her community, Kate currently serves as director on a number of boards. A true Northerner, Kate continues to focus her energy on building stronger, healthier local communities and improving population health outcomes across our health system. Kate holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Ottawa, is a Certified Professional Accountant / Chartered Accountant and has completed the Rotman Advanced Health Leadership Program.
JOHN HIRDES
Dr. Hirdes holds the distinguished title of University Professor in the School of Public Health Sciences, University of Waterloo with a cross-appointment to the Balsillie School of International Affairs. He is a Member of the Order of Canada, Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada, and Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Health Sciences. In addition, he is the Senior Canadian Fellow and a Board Member of interRAI (www.interRAI.org), an international consortium of researchers from over 40 countries. He chairs interRAI's Network for Mental Health and the interRAI Network of Canada. Dr. Hirdes has 330+ publications in peer reviewed journals and academic book chapters. His primary areas of interest include assessment, mental health, aging, health services research, quality measurement, and quantitative research methods.
ELISEO ORRANTIA
Eliseo Orrantia, of Marathon, is a Rural Generalist Physician and a Professor at Northern Ontario School of Medicine University. His community involvement includes serving as Senator of the Northern Ontario School of Medicine University, as Co-chair of the Rural Northern Physician Group Agreement (RNPGA) Complement Review Committee, and as a member of the Society of Rural Physicians of Canada, the Noojmawing Sookatagaing Ontario Health Team, and the Northern Maternal Child Network.
GLENNA RAYMOND
Glenna Raymond, of Oshawa, is the former President and Chief Executive Officer of Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health Sciences. Her community involvement has included serving as a board member for the University of Ontario Institute of Technology, the Scarborough and Rouge Valley Health Care System, and the HealthCare Insurance Reciprocal of Ontario.
LINDA FRANKLIN
Linda Franklin, ICD.D, is the past chair of the William Osler Health System and is a board member of Niagara College, The Post Secondary Education Quality Assessment Board, and the Ontario Motor Vehicle Industry Council. As the President and Chief Executive Officer of Colleges Ontario until 2023, Linda achieved the approval of college three-year degrees, independent nursing degrees and investments in student mental health. She established a board education program for college governors, contributed to government policy development and oversaw a system marketing program. As Chief Executive Officer of the Wine Council, Linda achieved significant government policy reforms including the creation of the VQA and was named Niagara Business Person of the Year. Previously, Linda worked for a medical regulatory body, was the chief of staff to an Ontario Cabinet Minister and provided strategic advice as a consultant. She has served on a number of public sector boards throughout her career.
