Appointee Biographies

KAREN ROBERTSON

Karen Robertson is a practicing lawyer in the field of family law. She was called to the Bar in 1986. I have practiced solely with the Kamin Law Firm since 1986 and became a partner in 1990. In addition to the general family practice I have been outside counsel for the Windsor-Essex Children’s Aid Society since approximately 1990. As outside counsel I represent the Society in child welfare cases before the Courts including the Ontario Court of Justice, the Superior Court of Justice and have been instructing counsel before the Court of Appeal for Ontario. I am a member of the Board of Canterbury College and a past Vice-Chairperson. Canterbury College provides residences for graduate students at the University of Windsor and extensive programming for seniors through its Eldercollege program. She has participated as a presenter at several family law and child welfare-oriented programs. I enjoy rural living and the benefits of country life. My family enjoys the many opportunities for recreation in and around Essex County.

TIMOTHY MELOCHE

Timothy Meloche is an Owner/Sole Practitioner for Law Office of Timothy Meloche, and he is the Owner of Simply Mediation. His community involvement includes serving as a Scout Leader for Scouter, Scouts Canada.
