Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry O.P.P. Detachment Board

JAMES MCDONELL

Jim and his wife Margie live in Glengarry County, where they raised their family of three. Over the past 40 years, Jim has volunteered for many organizations, including the Williamstown Fair and the Char-Lan Minor Soccer and Minor Hockey Associations. First elected to municipal council in 1994, Jim served 17 years as Mayor and Councilor in South Glengarry. He also served as the Warden of the United Counties of Stormont, Dundas, and Glengarry and Chair of the Eastern Ontario Health Unit and the SD&G Community Futures Development Corporation. On October 6, 2011, Jim was elected to the Ontario Legislature as the member for Stormont, Dundas, and South Glengarry. After being re-elected in 2014 and 2018, Jim retired from politics in June 2022.

TODD LALONDE

Todd Lalonde is currently the Supervisor of Parks and Landscaping with the City of Cornwall, Infrastructure and Municipal Works Division. Todd has served as a trustee and Chair of the Board of Trustees with the Catholic District School Board of Eastern Ontario from 2006-2022. He also served as a Regional Director for the Ontario Catholic School Trustee Association (OCSTA) from 2014-2022. He has served as a board member on the Children’s Treatment Centre of Cornwall, the Family Counselling Centre of Cornwall and United Counties, and the United Way of Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry. He also served as a volunteer fundraiser for the Multiple Sclerosis Society. Todd for the past 14 years has been a host for the Hospice Cornwall telethon. Just recently He was appointed by the Provincial Government of Ontario as a Provincial representative to the St. Lawrence Parks Commission. Todd has a broad educational background from Algonquin College in Ottawa and St. Lawrence College in Cornwall.
