Appointee Biographies

KAREN ROBERTSON

Karen Robertson is a member of the Law Society of Ontario. She is in private practice with the law firm of Kamin, Fisher, Burnett, Ziriada & Robertson. Karen has been with the firm since 1986 and a partner since 1990. She was called to the Bar in 1986 and has practiced solely in the field of family law, including acting as counsel for the Windsor-Essex Children's Aid Society for a period of approximately 25 years. Karen is a member of the Board of Canterbury College in Windsor, Ontario. In addition to sitting as a member of the Essex Police Board for the past four years, She has sat on other various boards and is familiar with the rules of order.

MARC GOMES

Marc J. Gomes is currently a Claims Administrator at The Corporation of the City of Windsor. His community involvement includes serving as the Chairman of the board for the Middlesex Hospital Alliance and as a former board member with the Strathroy Police Service Board. He attended the Herzing Business Institute where he studied Computer Programming & Systems Analysis.
