Northern Ontario School of Medicine University Board of Governors

KILLIAN DEBLACAM

Killian deBlacem is a self-employed Family Physician. His community involvement has included serving as President of Medical Staff Association for Health Sciences North.

PETER THAI

Peter Thai, of Greater Sudbury, is President and Owner of Lasalle Clinic Pharmacy Ltd. His community involvement has included serving as an Assistant Pharmacist for the Shkagamik-Kwe Health Center.

GEORGINA DANIELS

Georgina Daniels, of Thunder Bay, is Director of the Corporate Services Division for the District of Thunder Bay Social Services Administration Board. She is also a former Manager of Finance for the Thunder Bay District Health Unit. Her community involvement includes serving as a director for the Northwestern Ontario Chartered Professional Accountants Association.

INGRID THOMPSON

Ingrid Thompson is a senior communications and change-management executive with deep roots in northern Ontario and a lifelong commitment to strengthening northern communities. She first arrived in Canada in 1971, when her physician parents were recruited to Kirkland Lake to help address shortages of doctors serving remote regions. Thirty years later, as Chief of Staff to Ontario’s Minister of Northern Development, Ingrid helped secure the first Cabinet approval to create NOSM University, an institution that continues to champion the interests of Ontario’s north; she now serves on its Board of Governors. A graduate of Toronto Metropolitan University’s Radio & Television Arts program, Ingrid now calls Ottawa home.
