ALEXANDER GRIEVE
Sander Grieve practices public market finance and mergers and acquisitions, with a particular focus on global mining exploration, development, and extraction, while also acting for clients across a range of industries. In the finance field, he represents issuers, underwriters, and agents in domestic and international securities offerings, and his M&A practice spans the full range of friendly and hostile transactions for both vendors and purchasers; his corporate retainers further include advice on corporate governance matters as well as crisis response and management. He is a widely recognized leader in his field, having been named a leading lawyer in Mining Law by Chambers Global (including as a Foreign Expert for Australia), Lexpert/American Lawyer, The Legal 500 Canada, and the ILO Client Choice Awards in 2018, and earlier being recognized by Lexpert in 2009 as a “Rising Star” among Canada’s Leading Lawyers Under 40. Beyond his legal practice, Sander is an active contributor to national, provincial, and local politics, providing policy and communications advice to political leaders and drawing on this experience to advise clients on public policy and government relations. He is a member of the Canadian Bar Association.

Kelly Martin is a Senior Vice-President for Canadian Western Bank Financial Group, and a former Senior Vice President of Chief Auditor for Royal Sun Alliance Canada. Her community involvement includes serving as a volunteer for the Adult Literacy Teacher Peel Region Community Partnership, Adult Literacy Program.

Marie Oswald is a retired lawyer and compliance professional who has held senior leadership roles as both a securities regulator and within regulated investment firms. Now an independent corporate director (C.Dir), she has served on the boards of a number of corporations including in the energy, regulatory, charitable and land development sectors. Active in her Oakville community, she is a volunteer for Saint John Ambulance and Art House for Children & Youth.
