BRIAN GABEL
Brian Gabel is a chartered accountant/CPA by training. For most of his career he worked in prominent energy and utility companies including Union Gas, British Columbia Transmission, Hydro One and the Greater Toronto Airports Authority holding executive roles in finance, regulatory affairs, marketing, sales, operations, human resources and business development. My. Gabel currently sits on the board of Newmarket-Tay Power Distribution.
JASMIT (JAZ) SINGH
Jasmit (Jaz) Singh is a Senior Financial Planning Analyst at Peel Regional Police with over two decades of experience in financial strategy, budgeting, risk management, and cross-organizational collaboration. In 2018, he was recognized as Civilian Member of the Year. Jaz has a longstanding commitment to public service and governance. He currently serves as a Special Advisory Council member of Free For All Community Services. He previously served as a provincially appointed public member of the Ontario Judicial Council. He also served as a provincially appointed member for the Ontario Trillium Foundation and the Youth Opportunities Fund, and as an Advisory Committee member to Halton Regional Council. Additionally, he was Board Chair of Victim Services of Peel and received the Attorney General’s Victim Services Award of Distinction in 2023. Jaz holds a BComm in Accounting and Information Systems, an MA in Public Policy and Administration, and is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA).
RAN MANOR
Ran Manor is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Easy-Aging, a company focused on advancing solutions that support older adults to live independently and safely at home through the integration of technology. He is an experienced executive and board contributor with a track record spanning both for-profit and not-for-profit sectors, particularly in the areas of technology, aging, healthcare, and community-based services. Ran previously served as Director of Innovation at Baycrest, where he led the development and implementation of strategic initiatives aimed at improving quality of life and system efficiency through innovation. Earlier in his career, he was involved in entrepreneurship and R&D leadership roles. Ran has completed the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD) training and brings a disciplined governance approach to his work, with strengths in strategy, oversight, and organizational growth. He has contributed at the board level across multiple organizations.
