Health Unit Board - Oxford Elgin St. Thomas

DAVIN SHINEDLING

Davin Shinedling is an accomplished consultant and communications professional; he has extensive experience working with and for public and private sector organizations. He has a proven track record of success, having effectively collaborated with government officials and non-government actors in a variety of instances. He notably contributed his services to Ontario's Ministry of Health during the COVID-19 pandemic, playing a crucial role in assisting the government's effective response and guiding them through the unprecedented crisis.

LEE ROWDEN

Lee Rowden is a Nurse Educator at St. Joseph's Hospital, where he has worked since 1990 to design and deliver programs to nursing staff that are at a high risk of violence, and he is a former Staff Nurse at the St. Thomas Psychiatric Hospital. Mr. Rowden's community involvement has included working with various community agencies on stress management programs, and he was involved with the development of the Tragic Response Program for the Ontario Provincial Police. Mr. Rowden holds diplomas in Nursing and Business Administration from Fanshawe College, and Education from St. Xavier University.

DAVID WARDEN

David Warden served for 24 years as an elected municipal councillor in Oxford County and Elgin County. He is a former Administrative Officer for the St. Thomas Seniors Centre. He has served as Board Chair for the former Elgin St. Thomas Public Health Unit as well as chaired the Board of Health’s St. Thomas Location Building Committee. His community involvement includes serving as a Board member for the St. Thomas Police Services and previously acting as Chancellor for the Knights of Columbus. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Western Ontario, King’s University College.
