ALESSANDRO GRECO
Alex is a broad-based business executive with several years experience in strategic government relations, stakeholder relations, public policy, and leadership and communication. He is currently the Senior Director of Manufacturing and Value Chains at the Canadian Chamber of Commerce where he has launched and led the Canadian Chamber’s new manufacturing policy practice. In his role, Alex has helped the organization focus on robust value chains across multiple sectors, such as mechatronics, aerospace, defence, and advanced manufacturing and championed the needs of domestic manufacturers in Ottawa. Alex is the Past-President of the Public Affairs Association of Canada Ontario Chapter and a former public member on the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario. He holds both an Honours of Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science and Criminology, and a Masters of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Toronto.
BABAR SAROYA
Bob Saroya is a former Member of Parliament for Markham–Unionville, first elected in 2015 and re-elected in 2019. Prior to his political career, he immigrated to Canada in 1974 and built a successful career in both the corporate and entrepreneurial sectors. After advancing from an entry-level role to an executive position within a major Canadian company, he transitioned to business ownership, managing several small enterprises. Throughout his career, Mr. Saroya actively supported community integration initiatives, assisting newcomers with language acquisition, employment, and small business development. As a Member of Parliament, he focused on public safety, advocating for stronger legislation to address illegal firearms and prohibited drugs. He also championed initiatives to increase organ donation across Canada. His career reflects a long-standing commitment to public service, economic development, and community support.
