CHUKWURA (CHUKS) EZEOKAFOR
Chuks Ezeokafor is on the Executive Team at Levitt-Safety, national distributor of safety products and services, with 19 branches across Canada, HQ in Oakville, Ontario. He develops strategy and leads teams responsible for IT innovation, security, B2B eCommerce and enterprise projects. Chuks joined Levitt-Safety in 2018. Previously, he held senior technology roles at major corporations in Canada, the US, and Nigeria. Chuks co-owned and led Sales & Marketing at RMV Publications. The business holds publishing and distribution rights for Where Magazine in the Canadian Rockies. Chuks is co-Chair of Levitt-Safety's Sensitivity, Diversity & Inclusion Committee. He served on the Tax & Economic Affairs Committee of the Calgary Chamber of Commerce. Chuks volunteers in the GTA as a career coach and mentor to undergrads and mid-career professionals. He obtained an MBA from the Schulich School of Business at York University, B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Lagos.
MARY ELIZABETH HOFSTETTER
Mary E. Hofstetter is an accomplished leader and experienced Chief Executive Officer with proven skills in Change Leadership, Strategic Plan ni ng, Board Governance and Board Relation s, Fundraising, Financial Management, Organization Development, Public and Community Relations and Communications. Career highlights include service as Vice-President, Academic, Mohawk College; President & CEO, Sheridan College; General Manager, Stratford Festival ; President & CEO, Banff Centre. She currently consults part time in the arts and culture sector, with a focus on governance. Ms. Hofstetter holds Hons. B.A. and M.A. degrees, ICD .D designation, an Honorary Doctor of Laws from Western University, and was appointed a Member of the Order of Canada for her service to arts, culture and post-secondary education in Canada. She has substantial Board and governance experience in the not-for profit sector, and currently serves on the Board of Directors of The Arthritis Society, Sheridan College, Stratford Summer Music and the Ontario Cultural Attractions Fund.
STEVE DE EYRE
Steve de Eyre is the Director of Public Policy and Government Affairs for TikTok Canada. Before joining TikTok in 2020, he was Head of Public Policy at Amazon Canada, and previously served at the Canadian Embassy in Washington D.C. as the Senior Policy Officer for Innovation, Science & Economic Development Canada. Steve holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in Political Studies from Bishop’s University, and Juris Doctor degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Law (Cleveland, Ohio). He has served on the boards of the Canadian American Business Council and the American Chamber of Commerce in Canada, and currently serves as an Advisory Board member for McMaster University’s Master of Public Policy in Digital Society program.
