STEVEN LOWE

Steven Lowe is a Chartered Accountant who has spent most of his professional life in public accounting with BDO Canada LLP – Owen Sound. His client base included small to large family-owned businesses, professionals and various public sector organizations. Steve’s expertise in public accounting included not only assurance and taxation but also family business succession, purchase and sale transactions, business valuation and general management advice. Subsequent to his retirement as managing partner of the local office of BDO Canada LLP, Steve become the owner and president of a dimensional stone quarry on the Bruce Peninsula. The quarry was sold to a Private Equity Group in 2016 and joined RBC Dominion Securities as an Investment Advisor operating a Wealth Management Practice. Steve has been involved in several organizations as a Board Member including the Tom Thomson Art Gallery, CPA Ontario Professional Conduct Committee, and CPA Ontario Discipline Committee. Steve is active in the local business community with involvement in mentorship roles for young entrepreneurs, Former Chair of the Blue Water Angel Network and a driving force in the establishment of Catapult a local incubator/accelerator for business owners and young entrepreneurs in Grey Bruce .

MARY ANNE WILLSEY

Mary-Anne Willsey is a service industry professional and a proud member of the Dhippewas of Rama First Nation. She has spent her entire career dedicated to the professional growth and development of First Nations people. Over her professional life she has given preference to attitude and desire when making hiring decisions. She is proud of the diversity of individuals that she has taught, but even more than that, learned from both her family owned businesses, Mariposa Market Stores and as a member of the executive and leadership of Casino Rama and Casino Woodbine in Ontario, and Parq Vancouver, a privately--owned state of the art property in downtown Vancouver.

JIM (JAMES GUNTER) WILLIAMS

James Gunter Williams, of Midhurst, is the President and Owner of Jim Williams Leasing Limited, Baytowne Hyundai. He is also the former President and Owner of Jim Williams Leasing Limited, BayCity Kia and Thrifty Car Rental & Ryder Truck Rental. Jim’s community involvement includes serving as Governor of Rotary International and as former Honorary Colonel with the Canadian Armed Forces.
