Conestoga College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning - Board of Governors

AARON SCHEEWE

Aaron Scheewe is a Managing Director for Capital Hill Group, and a former Manager of Public Affairs for McMaster University. His community involvement includes serving as a member for Hamilton Chamber of Commerce Policy Advisory Council.

MARTHA GEORGE

Martha George is the President of the Grand Valley Construction Association located in Cambridge. Serve as a conduit for buyers and bidders for construction services in the industrial, commercial, institutional sector of construction. Connected to the community by supporting education in construction, apprenticeships and training, and advancement of employees and employers to help them build their careers and their business. Martha serves on the COCA (Council of Ontario Construction Associations) Chief Operating Officers Committee. She is a board member of the Waterloo Region Economic Development Corporation, member of the Board of Governors for the University of Waterloo, and Chair of the Universities Building and Properties committee. She is a Gold Seal Certified Estimator. In 2013, Martha was awarded the Queens Jubilee medal for her commitment to the Construction industry, and in 2018 was the recipient of the Conestoga College Alumni Award of Distinction.

ANGUS FOOTMAN

Angus Footman is a nationally recognized executive leader and advisor whose career spans innovative technologies, CPG and agriculture. He has worked throughout Canada, the USA and Europe and is currently the managing director of a boutique VC fund. Through his board roles, Angus has developed extensive governance experience in both the private and public sectors. He lives with his spouse and two boys on their farm in Wellington County. In his community Angus is a proud volunteer, having served in numerous roles including as a member of the local economic development committee and board member of non-profits.
