University of Guelph Board of Governors

ANDREW DUNCAN

is a Senior Vice President for Development at RioCan Real Estate Investment Trust. He is a former Design Development Director for Lowe’s Companies Canada. He holds an Honors in Bachelor of Science for Water Resources Engineering from University of Guelph.

ELEANOR FRITZ

Eleanor Fritz is a former Director Compliance & Disclosure in Listed Issuer Services for Toronto Stock Exchange. Eleanor’s community involvement includes serving as a member of board of governors for University of Guelph, and as a Co-chair/Chair of issues committee for Canadian Investor Relations Institute (CIRI).

PETER KOTSOPOULOS

Peter Kotsopoulos is a former Director and CEO of MFS Investment Management Canada and a past Board member of McLean Budden Investment Management. He is a member of the CFA Society Toronto and he holds his Chartered Financial Analyst designation (CFA). Prior to retirement on Dec 31, 2019, Peter was responsible for the Canadian operations of MFS Investment Management Canada including the strategy behind the Canadian Fixed Income Operation for MFS. Peter also served as a volunteer member of the Development Committee of the Oakville Hospital foundation and a past member of the Ontario March of Dimes Investment subcommittee. Peter holds a BA (Economics) from Wilfred Laurier University.

ASHISH SACHAN

Ashish Sachan is involved with Toxicological sciences for more than twenty years in both the university and industrial settings. Publications and books have widely covered advancements in the field of Pharmacology & Toxicology, including research topics related to ethnopharmacology, pesticide toxicology, and nanosensor technologies. Licensed in Toxicology by the College of Veterinarians of Ontario (CVO). Completed Bachelor’s degree in Vet. Medicine and master’s degree in Vet. Pharmacology & Toxicology from Veterinary College in Bangalore, India. Received PhD in Toxicology from Dept. of Biochemistry, Biophysics & Molecular Biology, Iowa State University, USA. PhD research involved the development of aptasensor technologies to detect toxic chemical species of forensic significance. Has been inducted into the Iowa State University chapter of the Honors Society of Agriculture–Gamma Sigma Delta. Recipient of Canada-150 community leadership award. Inducted into the Marquis “Who's Who in the World”, 2021-21.
