BOB HAMMERSLEY

Bob Hammersley was (now retired) the senior staff officer of one of the largest business and community service organizations in Southwestern Ontario, the St. Thomas & District Chamber of Commerce. He was employed with the Chamber of Commerce network for over 30 years. He has worked for over 10 years as a part-time member of the adjunct faculty at Fanshawe College teaching business courses. His background includes 15 years in media with experience in on-air radio, sales and management. He has owned and operated a family-run retail and restaurant business and has an extensive record of involvement in community projects. He has served on a variety of community and regional projects and events and has extensive association management experience on boards and committees within many organizations. He is a Past President of the Ontario Chamber of Commerce Executives. Bob is a recipient of the Queen's Golden and Diamond jubilee medals, recognizing his community service.
