STEPHEN THIELE

Stephen Thiele is a partner and the Director of Legal Research at Gardiner Roberts LLP. He has been involved in many high-profile cases and has been instrumental in formulating the legal arguments to support the development of the law in numerous areas. Stephen has also written extensively on a variety of legal topics which range from sports and the law to the enforceability of exemption clauses in commercial and consumer contracts. In addition to his accomplishments as a legal scholar and advocate, Stephen has contributed to his community in numerous ways. He is the Chair of the Canadian Abridgment Editorial Advisory Board and is an active community volunteer. In 2017, he received the Honsberger Award from the Toronto Lawyers Association.
