Provincial Judges Remuneration Commission
MARILYN NAIRN
Following her call to the Ontario Bar in 1982, Ms. Nairn practiced labour law before joining the Ontario Labour Relations Board as counsel. She was appointed a Vice-Chair of the OLRB in 1989, adjudicating in that capacity for nine years. Since 1998, she has conducted a private arbitration and mediation practice involving workplace disputes arising in the private and public sectors in both the provincial and federal jurisdictions. She holds part-time appointments as Arbitrator at the Grievance Settlement Board and Vice-Chair of the Public Service Grievance Board and is Alternate Chair of the GSB. She has chaired judicial remuneration commissions involving Justices of the Ontario Court of Justice, Justices of the Peace, and Deputy Judges. Ms. Nairn is a member of the National Academy of Arbitrators, member and Past President of the Ontario Labour-Management Arbitrators’ Association and is a former Chair of the Labour Section of the Ontario Bar Association.

Craig Rix, of Mississauga, is Managing Partner at Hicks Morley Hamilton Stewart Storie LLP. His community involvement has included serving as a member of the Ontario Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.
