Grant Review Team - Niagara - Ontario Trillium Foundation

TONY KAMPHUIS

Tory Kamphuis has been an active volunteer in West Niagara for over three decades. He has been a coach and organizer in community youth sports (soccer and hockey), has volunteered with the local municipality in developing recreational facilities (walk0bridge, local Leisureplex, multi-use recreational facility), and is an active member of his church as a youth program leader and former leadership and council member. As a teacher and administrator for over thirty years. Tony has had the opportunity to engage with many community members and organizations over the years and is keen to serve in the capacity of Director for the GRT-Niagara.

TED HESSELS

Ted Hessels is a life-long resident of the Township of Wainfleet, being born and raised on our family dairy farm which he now owns and operates with his family for the last 35 years. Currently on the Wainfleet Volunteer Fire Department and have been for the past 35 years. He was a municipal alderman (councilor) from 2006 to 2018. He was involved in minor hockey as a coach and trainer, when his children were younger. He currently sits on the Policy Advisory Committee for the Niagara Federation of Agriculture and previously was the Vice President of the Niagara South Federation of Agriculture.

DENNIS KOWALCHUK

Dennis Kowalchuk is a retired founder of Merit Contractors Niagara Ltd., and a former Design/Build Coordinator for Stewart & Hinan Construction Ltd. His community involvement includes formerly serving as member of the board of directors for Ontario General Contractors Association.
