CHARLIE CUFFARI

Charlie Cuffari retired in 2008 following a 35-year career in the Federal Public Service, Charlie continues to be involved in Federal, Provincial and Municipal politics as an active volunteer. As a long-time resident of his current address (40 years). Charlie has seen changes in, and the development of, community and I have a long history of involvement with numerous local charities and community groups.

MENAHEM BLUM

Rabbi Menachem M. Blum has been a respected leader and community building in the social, economic, religious and political field for over 20 years in Ottawa. He is the Executive Director of the Ottawa Torah Centre, a synagogue, social meeting place and school located in West Barrhaven, which offers the Jewish community in South Ottawa a multi-purpose space for holiday events, worship, and education, while also serving as a pillar of community outreach and inter-faith dialogue. Rabbi Blum actively seeks opportunities to help any organization or group in the city that wants to increase Judaic knowledge and commitment to diversity and inclusion. His outreach work includes interfaith dialogue addressing issues of diversity and integration within the Ottawa region in collaboration with the Ottawa Carleton District School Board (OCDSB) and other community institutions. In 2014, Rabbi Blu received the (City of Ottawa) Mayor’s City Builder Award—a civic honor that recognizes individuals who have demonstrated an extraordinary commitment to making Ottawa a better place today and for the future. Rabbi Blum is known for his non-judgmental approach and for his ability to connect and inspire people regardless of their backgrounds and affiliation.

JATINDER CHADHA

Jatinder Chadha is a program manager for the City of Ottawa. His community involvement includes formerly serving as Vice President for the India Canada Association.
