PIERRE OUELLETTE

Driven by an entrepreneurial spirit and demonstrating leadership and creativity, Pierre Ouellette has nearly 25 years of varied experience in the workplace, including fifteen years in the university sector. Rector and Vice-Chancellor of the University of French Ontario since July 2021, Pierre Ouellette is recognized for his community commitments. He also had the chance to work within teams dedicated to carrying out mobilizing projects, as was the case within the Société Radio-Canada when he was regional director responsible for Ontario from 2016 to 2021. He also enjoyed success in the 1990s when he created two weeklies, one French-language and the other bilingual, in northern Ontario as well as at the University of Hearst, where he was in turn turn professor of history and sociology, vice-rector for teaching to ultimately become rector of the establishment.

JACK MCFADDEN

Jack McFadden began employment with the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources (MNR) in 1974 and remained for his entire career with the exception of six secondments to special projects with outside agencies, other ministries or across public agencies. At MNR he was District Manager, A/Director of the Natural Resources Information Branch, Director of Ontario's Land Information Transition Project and subsequently Director of the Aviation and Forest Fire Management Branch. He is currently the First Vice-President of the Ontario Maple Producers Association and immediate Past Chair of the Board of Trustees of the Martyr's Shrine. Mr. McFadden holds a Bachelor of Arts (honours) degree in Geography and Economics and a Master of Arts degree in Geography from the University of Western Ontario.
