ADAM MELNICK

Adam Melnick is the Executive Director of the Construction Employers Coordinating Council of Ontario (CECCO), representing unionized Industrial, Commercial, and Institutional (ICI) construction employers across the province. He brings extensive experience in workforce development, apprenticeship pathways, and government and labour relations, with a focus on improving recruitment, retention, and long-term success in the skilled trades. Adam has worked closely with employers to navigate complex workplace systems, supporting practical approaches that strengthen compliance, reduce friction, and deliver better outcomes for both businesses and workers. He also served as a Youth Advisor to the Ontario government, where the panel’s Youth Advisor Report helped inform the province’s apprenticeship modernization efforts. He is passionate about building resilient workers and workplace environments where people can perform, adapt, and thrive.
