Health Unit Board - Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph
DUNCAN BULL
Duncan Bull, my family and I moved to Erin, Ontario in 1981 to join a family practice. I practiced family medicine in our group until joining the East Wellington Family Health Team when it was formed in 2007 until my retirement in 2020. I have been a member of the Erin Optimist Club since ~ 1984 and have participated in programs for youth as well as hosting the annual Terry Fox Run in Erin and blood donor clinics.
STEVE CAVELL
Stephen Cavell, is a resident of the Township of East Garafraxa, Ontario. Retired business executive. Proud member of the Rotary Club with a history of community involvement.
SANDRA STARR
Sandra Starr, of East Garafraxa, is a Consultant with Starr Performance. She is former President of The Data Cable Company Inc. and former General Manager of TFI Aerospace Corporation. Her community involvement includes serving as a client visit volunteer with Hospice Dufferin.
GEORGE BRIDGE
George Bridge was born and raised in Minto, Ontario and graduated from Norwell District Secondary School in Palmerston. He spent 30 years working for Canada Trust and TD, with the last 15 years as a manager in various towns and cities. George is a Past President of the Hanover Rotary and the Harriston Curling Club. After retiring from banking, he was Mayor of Minto and a Wellington County Councilor for 12 years with 2 of them also as Warden of Wellington County. Over this course of time, he was also the Chair of Economic Development, spent 5 years on the Federation of Canadian Municipalities as Vice Chair of the Ontario Caucus, 2 years as Chair of Governance, 10 years on the SWIFT board as well as 8 years as Chair of Economic Development, Western Wardens. George was a member of the Board of Health for Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph for 12 years, and Board Chair for 5 of those years. His position on the Board of Health ended on December 6, 2024.
