Health Unit Board - Algoma

DEBORAH GRAYSTONE

Deborah Graystone is a board member with the Algoma Nurse Practitioner Clinic (Chair from 2009 to 2014 and board member 2021 to present), as well as a Nurse Practitioner of the Emergency Department with Sault Area Hospital 2007-2021. She is a former Manager of the Rehabilitation Unit with Sault Area Hospital. Ms. Graystone holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Laurentian University and a Nursing diploma from Sault College.

DONALD MCCONNELL

Don McConnell was a professional urban planner in Sault Ste. Marie until retiring in 2022. He was a member of the City's Senior Management Team and responsible for the City's Planning Division over the past 23 years. He has been involved with numerous major public and private projects during his career. Mr. McConnell also served two terms as a member of the Ontario Professional Planners Institute's Board of Directors and subsequently was a member of their Governance and Nominations Committee. He currently is the Chair of the City's Accessibility Advisory Committee. His current interests include active living and active transportation, staff capacity development and succession planning.
