Council of the College of Opticians of Ontario
STEPHEN KINSELLA
Stephen Kinsella has been involved in the area of law enforcement for over 30 years; as a police officer, prosecutor, college professor and manager of municipal law enforcement. He has sat on various boards including Vice-President and Director of the Education and Municipal Law Enforcement Association of Ontario. Currently, Mr. Kinsella sits on the Barrie Simcoe Muskoka Criminal Youth Justice Committee (since 2000), is Chair of Barrie Property Standards Appeal Committee, and is Vice-Chair of the Barrie Business Licence Appeal Committee and the Council Remuneration Committee. Mr. Kinsella is a certified Municipal Manager III, has been a member of management teams of municipal governments and has worked with councils and local courts. Stephen is the Chair of the Ontario College of Opticians of Ontario and a provincial appointee.
ALICIA MUNIAN
Alicia Munian is a Senior IT Program Manager for Samuel Son & Company, and a former Strategic Program Manager for Hewlett Packard Enterprise. Alicia’s community involvement includes formerly serving as a volunteer for Santa Claus Fund.
OMAR FAROUK
Omar Farouk previously served as Chair of the Employment Insurance Board of Referees and as a member of the Council of the College of Nurses of Ontario. In addition to these previous positions, he oversees a food bank that delivers over 200 meals to people in need. He is also a marriage counsellor, a community advisor and holds a certificate from York University in Conflict and Dispute Resolution.
MARGARET (PEGGY) M. JUDGE
Peggy Judge is a Professional Engineer with experience in the oil and gas, consulting engineering, and insurance industries. Ms. Judge holds a Bachelor of Applied Science from Queen's University, a Master of Engineering Science from The University of Western Ontario, and an MBA from Wilfrid Laurier University. She is currently a Self-Employed Independent Consultant. Ms. Judge previously held the position of Assistant Vice President and Controller at a reinsurance underwriting management firm where she designed, implemented, and oversaw the financial controls for several hundred million dollars of business. She also participated in a major arbitration between the risk bearing Reinsurance Company and a Lloyd's of London Syndicate. Her community involvement includes serving as Operations Director for the major fundraiser for several Scouts Canada Scouting Groups.
CARLO SICOLI
Carlo Sicoli, of Oakville, is Director of Business Development and Partnerships at York University. He is also a former Director of Client Delivery at IsaiX. His community involvement includes serving as a Coach for the Oakville Soccer Club.
