ALLISON MALLOY

Allison Malloy is a senior engineering manager for Shopify Inc., and a former Vice-President of Engineering for Flirtey Inc. Her community involvement includes serving as a Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer for Kind Village.

REHAN SIDDIQUI

Dr. Rehan Siddiqui is a passionate and motivated experienced professional with over 25 years of experience in teaching and research at Universities, Colleges, and Research Institutes. He is awards recipient of Queen Elizabeth II (2015), Vernon Oliver Stong (2015), Dr. Ralph Nicholls (2016), YorkU Postdoctoral Fellowship (2017) and two times best teacher awards. Dr. Siddiqui is an author of peer-reviewed scientific papers, technical reports and course manuals. He works as a Contract Faculty & Research Associate at York University and Dean & Executive Director at Epic College of Technology and Epic Climate Green. He also works voluntary as Director at Career Advisory Network (CAN). He has a PhD and Master of Science (MSc.) degrees in Physics & Astronomy from York University as well as MSc. in Physics, and Power Engineering from NED and Karachi University. He holds a license designation accredited by Canadian Association of Physicist as (P.Phys.) and TACT from SEDA, UK.

ASIF KHAN

Asif Khan works with BMO Private Wealth as a Senior Wealth Advisor and has over 25 years’ experience in the industry. He is a graduate from Ryerson University. Asif currently serves as the National Public Affairs Secretary for the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community in Canada. Additionally, he was a founding member and served on the Board for the ‘Run for Canada’ (which organizes approx. 10 Charity Runs across Canada). Other volunteer work has included serving on the Board of Directors for the Vitanova Foundation, and 'Muslims for Remembrance' (a program to promote Remembrance Day & the Poppy Appeal amongst the Muslim Community in Canada). Asif and his family organize an annual scholarship that promotes higher education amongst budding Muslim females in honour of his late wife, Tanya Khan. In 2012, Asif was awarded the Queen's Diamond Jubilee Medal.

ABENA BUAHENE

Abena Buahene has held senior leadership roles over the course of her long career with several regulatory/ compliance focused bodies including the Law Society of Ontario, the Ontario Film Authority and the Condominium Authority of Ontario. She has also been a Registrar and CEO for two regulated health-care professions, namely opticians and denturists. She currently serves as a public appointee on the Council of the Ontario College of Teachers and also is the vice-chair of the human resources committee and a member of the selection and nominating committee. She has previously served on the College of Psychologists of Ontario, on the Board of Governors for Centennial College, and on the Board of Directors for Heritage Toronto. Abena has a Bachelor of Arts degree (political science and English) from Lakehead University and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Windsor. She was called to the bar in British Columbia.
