DONNA MOONEY
Donna Mooney is a former Property Assessor/Commercial/Income Valuation Analyst with the Municipal Property Assessment Corporation, an Assessment Clerk with the Ministry of Finance and a Senior Computer Operator with Leeds and Grenville County Board of Education. She studied Micro and Macro Economics at St. Lawrence College, also has a certificate from the University of British Columbia.
MELANIE PARADIS
Melanie Paradis is the President of Texture Communications. She is an expert ghost-writer of speeches and op-eds for leading industry executives and Indigenous leaders. Her work has been published in Canada’s most read newspapers and heard on airwaves and streaming services across the nation for more than 15 years. Melanie has worked with executives on Bay Street and politicians on Parliament Hill during high stakes crises and moments of transformation. Prior to founding Texture Communications, Melanie served in senior communications roles at leading national public affairs and government relations firms, and in-house for an international mining company and Indigenous government. Melanie is on the Board of Governors for Loyalist College and lives in Belleville, Ontario
SELOMON MENGHSHA
Selomon Menghsha is a seasoned Talent Acquisition Professional with over 15 years of industry experience in Contingency, Retained, RPO resource management and Corporate Recruitment. Selomon is Educated with a Business Administration from McMaster University and is Licensed as a RRP (Registered Professional Recruiter). Selomon is currently the Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition, leading a team of recruiters and is responsible for the overall Talent Acquisition strategy for Buckland Customs Broker in Canada, United States and Mexico. Selomon personally enjoys recruiting leadership, working on process initiatives/improvements, policies, vendor management, contract management and systems (ATS) implementation/administration. Overall Selomon presents industry experience, depth and professionalism to all of his clients and is dedicated to providing superior service and timely delivery of top talent.
BRIAN MASON
Brian Mason is a former television finance executive turned Producer with a focus on bringing Canadian stories to an international audience. A CPA, CA trained in the technology, media & telecommunications group at KPMG Toronto, he began his career in television at Epitome Pictures and DHX Studios Toronto (now Wildbrain) as the Production Controller, working on DEGRASSI: NEXT CLASS (Family Channel & Netflix) CREEPED OUT (Family Channel, BBC & Netflix), MASSIVE MONSTER MAYHEM (Family Channel & Nickelodeon), MAKE IT POP (YTV & Nickelodeon) and THE OTHER KINGDOM (Family Channel & Nickelodeon). He moved on to be the Executive in Charge of Finance at Architect Films (now Nikki Ray Media Agency), running the television production finance function, working on over 10 different series across multiple seasons for HGTV, Food Network, Discovery and Blue Ant. Brian is now taking on the world of feature films, having recently produced DRIVE BACK HOME, with star Alan Cumming. Previously, Brian helped produce WHO’S YER FATHER, with 63 Lights and NORTH OF NORMAL, with JoBro Productions. Brian graduated from Carleton University with a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting. He has a Certificate in Film Studies from Ryerson/Toronto Metropolitan University.
