Tarion Warranty Corporation
JASON OTTEY
Jason Ottey is the Director of Government Relations and Communications for Labourer’s International Union of North America (LiUNA) Local 183 where he provides direction, advocacy and strategic advice on construction-related issues at all three levels of government. Prior to joining LiUNA Local 183, he was the Director of Research and Policy for the Residential Construction Council of Ontario, where he represented the interests of single and multi-family residential builders across the GTA. He is a graduate of McMaster of University and the University of Toronto, receiving Master of Arts in Political Science and Master of Industrial Relations respectively.
ROBERT FALCONI
RJ Falconi is Managing Director of RayleeValleyGroup focusing on legal, governance and consumer/product/public/rail safety issues. Mr. Falconi is currently board Chair of the Technical Standards and Safety Authority, a Commissioner on the Ontario Northland Transportation Commission, board member of Tarion Warranty Corporation, a member of the Ontario Advisory Board of Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters Inc., and a board member of the York Durham Heritage Railway Association. Formerly, he was Executive Vice President, Chief Legal & Government Affairs Officer, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary at Canadian Standards Association, Vice President, General Counsel & Assistant Corporate Secretary for Parsons Corporation and Legal Counsel at Citibank Canada. Mr. Falconi has a B.Sc. degree from the University of Toronto, a J.D. (LL.B.) from Osgoode Hall Law School, was called to the Ontario Bar in 1985, holds an ICD.D. designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors and is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, the Canadian, Ontario, American and International Bar Associations, and the US-based National Association of Corporate Directors. He was born and raised in North Bay, ON, and currently resides in Bradford, ON.
DAVID TSUBOUCHI
David Tsubouchi, BA, JD, LLD, DSLitt, CDir, is the first Japanese Canadian to be elected to any provincial legislature in Canada and to be appointed as a cabinet minister. He has served as the Minister of Consumer and Commercial Relations, Solicitor General, Chair of Management Board and Minister of Culture. He has previously served as the Ward 5 Councillor for Markham, Integrity Commissioner for Richmond Hill and Aurora and the regulator of skilled trades in Ontario.
AMANDA WALTON
Amanda Walton is an independent communications consultant and a former Senior Vice President and Partner of a leading Toronto communications and public affairs firm. She has more than 30 years of experience in communications strategy and public policy analysis. Ms. Walton currently sits on the Board of Directors of Ports Toronto, where she chairs the Governance & Human Resources Committee. In the past, she has served as a Governor of Crescent School, President of the Albany Club of Toronto, a member of the Board of Directors of Ontario Place and a Director of the Canadian National Exhibition Association. A graduate of the University of Toronto (Victoria College) with an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree, she has also completed the Directors Education Program at the Rotman School of Management and earned her ICD.D designation.
