Appointee Biographies

PAUL KYTE

Paul Kyte is a legal services provider licensed by the Law Society of Ontario and has been a practicing Paralegal since 1996. He also privately manages a real estate portfolio of residential properties. Paul was elected a municipal councilor in the City of Quinte West (Sidney Ward including CFB Trenton) in 2003 and served until 2014. During his tenure on city council he sat on several committees and boards including the Board of Public Health and as chair of the city's protective services committee. From 1990 to 1999 he volunteered as an Auxiliary Constable with the Ontario Provincial Police. Currently he sits on the Condominium Management Regulatory Authority of Ontario as a board member.

BETH PEARSON

Beth Pearson is a semi-retired insurance broker in Ancaster. She is a past president of the Insurance Brokers Association (2006) and the Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario (2015), and had worked with various insurance companies, government agency (FSCO), and consumers. Beth is currently a member of local Rotary Club, as well as Chair of Finance & Stewardship at her church, and a Board Member of Ancaster Heritage Days and her Condo Board.

KERRY CARMICHAEL

Kerry Carmichael is a former ED Retailers Communication Team for BMW Canada, and a former VP in Organizational Development and IT for City Buick Pontiac Cadillac Ltd. Kerry’s community involvement includes formerly serving as a Board Member, Chair of Board of Crossroads Christian Communication Corp.
