Ontario Power Generation Inc.
WENDY KEI
Ms. Wendy Kei was appointed Board Chair for Ontario Power Generation effective June 27, 2019. She was initially appointed to the OPG Board in March 2017. Ms. Kei is an accomplished finance executive with over 25 years of business experience across multiple industries. She currently serves on the boards of Karora Resources Inc. (TSX: KRR) and Noranda Income Fund (TSX: NIF.UN) where she is Chair of the Audit Committee. In 2022, Ms. Kei was honoured as a Fellow from the Institute of Corporate Directors (F.ICD) and in 2020, she was named one of Canada’s Top 100 Most Powerful Women and honoured as a Fellow Chartered Professional Accountant (FCPA-FCA) designation. In 2016, she was selected as a Diversity 50 Candidate by the Canadian Board Diversity Council. Ms. Kei is a Fellow of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario, holds a Fellow designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors and holds a Bachelor of Mathematics from the University of Waterloo.
NICOLLE BUTCHER
Nicolle Butcher, of Toronto, is former Chief Operations Officer for Ontario Power Generation.
TRACY PRIMEAU
Tracy is one of the few women to become a CNSC licensed operator at Bruce Power and was the first to do so at Bruce Power. She is the only woman to ever work her way up to Shift Manager from the shop floor. She worked in that position for most of her career before leading the Operations Support Department while mentoring women and men in both operations and leadership roles. She is a current member of the Women in Nuclear Canada Board. Raising her two boys with her husband Dave, Tracy has always been active in her community. Currently she also sits on the University of Waterloo, United College and Ingenium boards as well. She is a proud member of the Nipissing First Nation and strives to use the Seven Grandfather Teachings in her leadership.
SCOTT MCDONALD
Scott McDonald has served as a Board member and Committee Chair with several Canadian organizations. Over the course of his career as a senior executive, Mr. McDonald held general management, operations, and human resources roles in large complex organizations in the distribution, transportation, consumer goods, food, and forest products industries. His experiences included Canadian and U.S operations as well as the private and public sectors. A Certified Board Director and Certified Human Resources Executive, Mr. McDonald is a graduate of the University of Toronto and executive programs at the Rotman School of Management, McGill University, and M.I.T.
SELMA LUSSENBURG, KC, C. DIR., GCB.D
Selma Lussenburg is an experienced lawyer and corporate director. Her experience includes serving as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of the Greater Toronto Airports Authority (Toronto Pearson), the Ontario Municipal Employees Retirement System (OMERS) and AT&T Enterprises Canada.
ANTHONY HAINES
Anthony Haines is an experienced Director and veteran Chief Executive Officer in the energy sector. He currently serves in Canada as Director of Ontario Power Generation and Chairman of Elexicon Corporation. In addition to these boards, he also serves in the USA as Director of Alphagen and AP Company Group (Advanced Power) and Advisor to ArcLight Capital. From 2009-2024, Anthony was President and Chief Executive Officer at Toronto Hydro Corporation and from 2005-2009 served as the company’s Chief Administrative Officer and President of the utility. From 2003-2005, Anthony served as Chief Operating Officer at Hydro Ottawa, and prior to that was President and Chief Executive Officer at Enlogix Inc. (a subsidiary of Westcoast Energy). At Toronto Hydro, Anthony oversaw the commercial transformation of the company, exponentially growing its profitability and taking it to high investment-grade credit ratings. At the same time, he oversaw the company’s largest capital build-out in history, dramatically improving customer service and grid performance at a time when Toronto was the fastest growing city in North America. Anthony served as past Chair of both Electricity Canada and the Ontario Energy Association. He has won numerous awards including Canadian Energy Person of the Year (Energy Council of Canada), Leader of the Year (Ontario Energy Association), the first Canadian to win the North American Sustainability Leader of the Year (Corporate Responsibility Association), Leadership on Sustainability (Electricity Canada), and recently Lifetime Achievement (Ontario Energy Association). In addition to his commitment to the energy sector, Anthony has been actively involved in philanthropic activities. He is most proud of his fundraising efforts for the Ross Tilley Burn Center at Sunnybrook Hospital, overseeing fundraising of millions of dollars for dollars for electrical injury rehabilitation research.
ANJU KUMAR
Anju Kumar is a Chief Information Officer at Cargojet Inc, and a Anju Kumar is the former Chief Information Officer at Cargojet Airways Inc. She also serves on the Board of governors of Toronto Metropolitan University. She also served on the board of Payments Canada. Anju provides expertise in Digital Transformation, cyber security and AI governance. Anju’s community involvement includes formerly serving as a Board Member/Volunteer for The Indus Entrepreneur, and an Advisory Board Member for Advisory Council for National Security.
