Appointee Biographies

SCOTT SINCERBOX

For over thirty years Scott Sincerbox has provided successful and dedicated service in the education sector. He prides himself on his commitment to student success, innovation, diversity, equity, safety, and inclusion. Scott's professional journey has seen him serve as a teacher, as an Education Officer with EQAO, as a school administrator, as a superintendent overseeing many portfolios with the Hamilton-Wentworth and Grand Erie District School Boards, and most recently as Interim Executive Director with the Provincial and Demonstration Schools Branch. Scott graduated from the University of Western Ontario with an Honours Bachelor of Arts in History and from Queen's University with a Bachelor of Education. He also holds a Master of Education from Brock University. Scott is a lifelong learner who enthusiastically embraces challenges and opportunities. Scott's life's partner, Carolyn, is also a career educator. Together, Carolyn and Scott are proud parents of Emma, Chloe, and Samuel.
