DOMINIQUE GIGUERE
Dr. Dominique Giguère, is co- Chief Executive Officer of Currents Group, a firm specializing in organizational development services for not-for-profit organizations. Her consulting focuses on governance, organizational performance, learning, and business planning. She is active in several sectors and works with global humanitarian organizations, post-secondary institutions, arts organizations, national associations, and local charities. She is also sought after for her experience working with Indigenous and equity-deserving groups. Among many achievements, she was a team recipient of the Governor General’s Meritorious Service Decoration for her work with Médecins Sans Frontières. Ms. Giguère understands the unique subtleties of balancing strategy and operational needs. She serves on several boards and has held senior management positions in Ontario's public sector including at TVOntario, Seneca College and the WSIB. She is currently the Mayor of Malahide Township and serves as Councillor for Elgin County.
FREDERIC DUGUAY
Frédéric Duguay is the General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of the Canada Infrastructure Bank (CIB), an impact investor focused on attracting private and institutional capital in revenue-generating infrastructure projects that are in the public interest. In this capacity, Frédéric serves on the executive team and leads all legal activities, including corporate governance, compliance and ethics, investments and corporate legal matters. Frédéric is a member of the management investment committee. As of September 30, 2025, the CIB has over $17 billion in investments in over 100 infrastructure projects that provide social, economic, and environmental benefits for Canadians. Prior to joining the CIB in 2018, Frédéric was a Partner with Hansell LLP, where his legal practice focused on advising boards of directors, shareholders and management teams on M&A transactions, special situations, and other corporate governance matters. Frédéric holds a law degree from the University of Ottawa.
LISE BOURGEOIS
Lise Bourgeois, of Russell, is a former self-employed Consultant at LiBourg Consultation. She is also former President and General Director at Collège La Cité.
MAXIM JEAN-LOUIS
Maxim Jean-Louis is President—Chief Executive Officer of Contact North I Contact Nord since 1996. He currently serves as Vice-Chair of the Board of Directors of Renewed Computer Technology. He is also a member of the Board of Governors of Cambrian College, the Board of Directors of the Sudbury Art Gallery and the Board of Directors of MindShare. He is a member of l’ Association de l’Hôpital Montfort and the Central Michigan University Ontario Program Advisory Committee. He is a Honorary Fellow of the Commonwealth of Learning and an EDEN Fellow.
XAVIER BRASSARD-BÉDARD
Xavier Brassard-Bédard boasts more than two decades of experience in Canadian media. Until recently, he was serving as general manager of TVA Nouvelles and LCN, the most-watched Francophone news network in Canada. Before joining TVA, Xavier had worked at Radio-Canada in Ottawa and Toronto for eight years. Over the course of his career, he has held positions as a manager, a journalist, a producer, a researcher and a news desk editor. Before entering the media sector, Xavier worked as a writer and editor for the Regroupement des organismes du patrimoine franco-ontarien (ROPFO).
