Ontario French-Language Educational Communications Authority (TFO)

JEAN LEPINE

Jean Lépine is a seasoned communications, government relations, investor relations and sustainability executive leading teams in healthcare, legal cannabis, family entertainment (DHX.TO), private equity and asset based lending, public relations, organic food, electronics (NYSE:HAR), beverage alcohol (NYSE:BUD) and innovative pharmaceuticals (NYSE:AZN). He has 20 years’ experience working in industry in Canada, the US and Europe and another 10 years in various roles within Canada’s Federal and Provincial Governments (Ontario). He earned a Masters’ degree in Business Administration from the Ivey School of Business - Western University (EMBA 2002) and a Bachelor of Social Sciences with a minor in political science from uOttawa. He has appeared before a parliamentary committee on legislative matters, on news programs and authored several articles on public policy topics. He volunteers as the Alumni Committee Chairman of the nationally ranked uOttawa Men's Hockey Program.

DOMINIQUE GIGUERE

Dr. Dominique Giguère, is co-CEO of Currents Group, a firm specializing in organizational development services for not-for-profit organizations. Her consulting focuses on governance, organizational performance, learning, and business planning. She is active in several sectors and works with global humanitarian organizations, post-secondary institutions, arts organizations, national associations, and local charities. She is also sought after for her experience working with Indigenous and equity-deserving groups. Among many achievements, she was a team recipient of the Governor General’s Meritorious Service Decoration for her work with Médecins Sans Frontières during the 2014 Ebola crisis. Ms. Giguère understands the unique subtleties of balancing strategy and operational needs. She serves on several boards and has held senior management positions in Ontario's public sector including at TVOntario, Seneca College and the WSIB. She is currently the Mayor of Malahide Township in southwestern Ontario and Councillor for the County of Elgin.

MAXIM JEAN-LOUIS

Maxim Jean-Louis is President—Chief Executive Officer of Contact North I Contact Nord since 1996. He currently serves as Vice-Chair of the Board of Directors of Renewed Computer Technology. He is also a member of the Board of Governors of Cambrian College, the Board of Directors of the Sudbury Art Gallery and the Board of Directors of MindShare. He is a member of l’ Association de l’Hôpital Montfort and the Central Michigan University Ontario Program Advisory Committee. He is a Honorary Fellow of the Commonwealth of Learning and an EDEN Fellow.

JENNIFER SPOKE

Jennifer Spoke, the Owner and Operator of La Petite École (LPE), a French enrichment preschool in Toronto, also serves as a board member of the Bloor West Village Business Improvement Association (BIA). Before LPE, Jennifer was a director at TKS, an education program recognized as a School of the Future by the World Economic Forum. Jennifer also boasts a track record of successfully growing a biotech company from zero to 70 B2B customers in its inaugural year, achieving subsequent millions in revenue growth. While Jennifer's focus nowadays is on local education, her cross-cultural experiences and multilingualism provide a unique lens for her educational and business endeavours at any level.

FREDERIC DUGUAY

Frédéric Duguay became the first General Counsel & Corporate Secretary at the Canada Infrastructure Bank (CIB) in November 2018. In this capacity, Frédéric is responsible for leading the legal affairs, the corporate secretariat, as well as the compliance functions and regulatory activities of the CIB. Before joining the CIB, Frédéric was a Partner with Hansell LLP, where his practice focused on advising boards of directors, shareholders and management teams on matters involving special situations, stakeholder relations, board effectiveness and the development of governance policies and practices. Frédéric also held progressively more senior positions with the Ontario Securities Commission advising on matters concerning corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, shareholder rights and disclosure obligations.

MICHELLE SÉGUIN

As a proud bilingual Franco-Ontarian, Michelle is a strategic and experienced change management leader who has worked in large, multi-stakeholder environments under intense public scrutiny. Michelle is a CPA, has a MBA, and is a Chartered Corporate Director. She has over twenty five years of senior management experience in the public sector including CAO and VP with Legal Aid Ontario and VP of Corporate Affairs and CRO with Ontario Deposit Insurance Corporation. Michelle joined TFO in June 2019, assuming several strategic positions, in finance, human resources, legal, and supporting the Board of Directors. Michelle has been Acting CEO at TFO since May 2021.
