Appointee Biographies

BRENDA ABRAMS

As a career public servant and a long-time volunteer in the charitable/not-for-profit sector, Brenda Abrams is a strong supporter of organizations that build communities. As General Counsel, Vice President, Compliance and Corporate Secretary for a large public sector employer, Ms. Abrams' day to day executive role required providing advice and guidance on strategic, legal, regulatory, compliance and governance matters. Currently she serves as Chair of the Children's Wish Foundation and Toronto North Support Services. She has also served as Vice-Chair and Director of Governance for Girl Guides of Canada.

LLOYD KOMORI

Lloyd Komori is Chief Risk Officer of the Ontario Power Generation. Mr. Komori's employment history includes tenures in the financial services and consulting industries. In addition, over the past several years he has been an active participant in leading-edge corporate governance education programs and initiatives. Mr. Komori's community involvement has included participation in fund raising activities for various health care related charities. Mr. Komori is a graduate of the University of Toronto.
