Council of the College of Early Childhood Educators

PEETER POLDRE

Peeter Poldre, of Mississauga, is a Staff Physician, Vice-President, and Honorary Staff Member at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. He is also an Independent Contractor Consultant at Accreditation Canada and former Chief of Staff at St. John's Rehab Hospital. His community involvement includes serving as Vice-Chair of The Riverwood Conservancy Board of Directors.

TODD CUNNINGHAM

Dr. Cunningham is a clinical and school psychologist, Associate Professor (teaching stream), Chair of the School and Clinical Child Psychology program at the University of Toronto and provides psychological services through private practice Bright Lights Psychology. His research investigates the support of students with learning difficulties from assessment to intervention. Projects involve looking at new techniques in psychological assessments, evaluation of assistive technology, professional development in literacy and numeracy, and telepsychology. Dr. Cunningham has shared his expertise with parents, students, educators, school boards, and other professionals across North America. In addition to hundreds of workshops, Dr. Cunningham has guest lectured at universities, given keynote addresses, and presented at educational and research conferences and news outlets.

MARY BROGA

Mary Broga has experience as an Executive Director at Hotel Dieu Grace Healthcare which is a lead agency for children and youth mental health. She has also served as Executive Director and Psychologist at Regional Children`s Centre. Ms. Broga is a former Adjunct Associate Professor for the University of Windsor. Her community involvement includes Chair to the board of Hospice of Windsor and Essex County and member of the Provincial Council of Maternal & Child Health and Ontario Genealogical Society, among others. She has a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Western University. She is a member of the Ontario Psychological Association and College of Psychologists of Ontario. Recipient of the Queen`s Diamond Jubilee medal.

AMANDA GALBRAITH

Amanda Galbraith, of Toronto, is a Principal at Navigator Ltd. She is also a former Director of Communications for the Office of the Mayor of Toronto. Her community involvement includes serving as Chair of the Marketing and Partnerships Committee for the Canadian Club of Toronto.

JULIE O'DRISCOLL

Julie is a multi-talented public affairs professional who marries her knowledge of the housing, development and infrastructure sector with her expertise in government and media relations to create compelling advocacy for clients who play a role in helping our country build. Julie has a reputation for driving action quickly with straightforward and sound counsel. She is a creative problem solver and a strategic thinker who thrives under pressure, skills she honed as a NCAA Division I athlete and later as a trusted advisor to federal and Ontario cabinet ministers. Julie resides in Vaughan, Ontario.

KAMINI KAMDAR

Kamini Kamdar is an experienced educator and scholar with nearly two decades of professional experience across early childhood, elementary, and post-secondary education. She holds a Master of Professional Studies in Education from the University of Auckland, New Zealand, and is a PhD candidate at York University, where her research examines educational policy, governance, and the structural conditions shaping outcomes for newcomer, marginalized, and diverse children and families in Canadian and international contexts. Active across Canada’s Faculties of Education, she supports pre-service educators, institutional leaders, and education stakeholders. Her work involves early learning and care systems within provincial and national policy frameworks, advancing professional standards, regulatory accountability, and evidence-informed public policy in education. She resides in Thornhill, Ontario.

GENEVIÈVE BRETON

Geneviève Breton is the Vice-President for Public Affairs and IT for Ingenium - Canada's Museums of Science and Innovation. Geneviève holds an Bachelor of Commerce from University of Ottawa.
