ADESUA EZEOKAFOR
Adesua Ezeokafor is the Chief Financial Officer of OS&B Ltd. As an officer of the company, Adesua leads the Finance and Accounting functions. Before this role, Adesua was Director of Finance at Onsero Pharmaceuticals, a Biotechnology company headquartered in Boston, MA. Adesua's career in the Biotech space included time as the Associate Director, heading Canadian Financial Operations at Fusion Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ: FUSN), a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company headquartered in Hamilton, Ontario. Previously, Adesua led the Finance & Performance Analysis team at Phillips 66 Canada, a multibillion-dollar energy corporation. Adesua also led the Phillips 66 Canada women's network. In addition, she led a campaign to raise awareness for dozens of kidnapped girls in remote villages in Nigeria. Adesua is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter holder. She obtained her MBA from the University of Houston, Texas, and her bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Benin. Adesua serves as Chair of the Board at OakMed Family Health, a nonprofit team of Physicians and health practitioners focused on providing integrated and comprehensive community-based healthcare.
RICHARD FILION
Education: Doctor of Dental Surgery. University of Toronto Class of 6T6 Served for 18 years with the Royal College of Dental Surgeons and worked in my practice for 40 Years. Elected to Springer Township and West Nipissing Municipal Council. Served on councils of the RCDS, the Law Society of Upper Canada, The College of Teachers of Ontario. Taught Dental Hygiene at Cambrian College in Sudbury. Served as a member of council on Lands for Life, Great Lakes St Laurence Round Table. Appointed to the North Bay and Parry Sound Health Unit. Member of the Sturgeon Falls Rod and Gun Club and served on the Council of Ontario Federation of Hunters and Anglers. Completely Bilingual in the English and French Language.
GENEVIÈVE BRETON
Geneviève Breton is the Vice-President for Public Affairs and IT for Ingenium - Canada's Museums of Science and Innovation. Geneviève holds an Bachelor of Commerce from University of Ottawa.
SHERNETT MARTIN
Shernett Martin is the Executive Director of ANCHOR Canada (formerly Vaughan African Canadian Association). She is an award-winning Experienced Equity & Inclusion Consultant, speaker, workshop developer and facilitator. Shernett has taught students from elementary to college. She has multiple awards for her work in equity, diversity, education and philanthropy. She is a published author and has created lesson plans for the Africentric school in Toronto as well as two University courses: Equity & Inclusion Part 2 and Part 3. She is the author of "Lift Every Voice and Sing" a historical children's book on the African Methodist church in Oro-Medonte, The Heart of Teaching, and My Friend Chantal has Sickle Cell Disease. Shernett has been leading the work to support African refugees and newcomers in York Region and has lobbied for increase funding, housing support and employment for African newcomers. In 2022, Anchor Canada was Nominated for the Federal Peace Award as one of the best Black community organizations fighting against racial discrimination. Shernett has worked in community and settlement services for over 30 years, she has received The Women Who Lead Award, Canada 150 Community Award, Human Rights Award: National Council of Canadian Muslims, The Order of Vaughan, She was nominated for the 100 Accomplished Black Women in Canada, awarded Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Award and she is the recipient of African-Canadian Achievement Award for her dedication to community Service. Shernett enjoys the arts and cooking, and spending time with her two children and husband in York Region.
PEETER POLDRE
Peeter Poldre, of Mississauga, is a Staff Physician, Vice-President, and Honorary Staff Member at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. He is also an Independent Contractor Consultant at Accreditation Canada and former Chief of Staff at St. John's Rehab Hospital. His community involvement includes serving as Vice-Chair of The Riverwood Conservancy Board of Directors.
TODD CUNNINGHAM
Dr. Cunningham is a clinical and school psychologist, Associate Professor (teaching stream), Chair of the School and Clinical Child Psychology program at the University of Toronto and provides psychological services through private practice Bright Lights Psychology. His research investigates the support of students with learning difficulties from assessment to intervention. Projects involve looking at new techniques in psychological assessments, evaluation of assistive technology, professional development in literacy and numeracy, and telepsychology. Dr. Cunningham has shared his expertise with parents, students, educators, school boards, and other professionals across North America. In addition to hundreds of workshops, Dr. Cunningham has guest lectured at universities, given keynote addresses, and presented at educational and research conferences and news outlets.
MARY BROGA
Mary Broga has experience as an Executive Director at Hotel Dieu Grace Healthcare which is a lead agency for children and youth mental health. She has also served as Executive Director and Psychologist at Regional Children`s Centre. Ms. Broga is a former Adjunct Associate Professor for the University of Windsor. Her community involvement includes Chair to the board of Hospice of Windsor and Essex County and member of the Provincial Council of Maternal & Child Health and Ontario Genealogical Society, among others. She has a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Western University. She is a member of the Ontario Psychological Association and College of Psychologists of Ontario. Recipient of the Queen`s Diamond Jubilee medal.
