Police Services Board - Niagara (Regional Municipality Of)


is a former Industrial Engineer for General Motors of Canada. His community involvement includes serving as President for Niagara-on-the-lake (NOTL) Lions Club, Chair for NOTL Library Board and Niagara District Health Council.


Jennifer Lawson is a CPA, CGA who brings 20 years accounting experience from a diverse background in the public & private sectors covering manufacturing, family entertainment, hospital, regional & provincial governments. Ms. Lawson’s passion for learning inspired her to pursue her Honours Bachelors of Commerce from Laurentian University where she then completed her Master of Business Administration. Born in Hamilton, Ms. Lawson moved to the Niagara Region in 2002 where she’s been an active community member; running for municipal council in 2010, President of Grimsby Baseball, Treasurer of 62 Phantom Air Cadets, Secretary Treasurer of BNI SCORE, Chapter Launch Ambassador, school council treasurer & 2835 Army Cadet volunteer. She’s a roll up your sleeves, boots on the ground, volunteer & board member. When Ms. Lawson isn’t shuttling one of her 6 kids or 3 bonus daughters around, her recent interests have included axe throwing, tai chi, kickboxing, meditating & helping others ignite their why.


Tara McKendrick has resided in the Niagara Region for about 30 years. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Brock University and a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Windsor. Mrs. McKendrick has volunteered and worked for various social service agencies including the Distress Centre Niagara, Family and Children's Services, Niagara Victim Services, and the Canadian Mental Health Association.
