Appointee Biographies

JEFF SEDGWICK

Jeff Sedgwick has worked with The Co-operators since 2004, joining as National Commercial Claims Manager, and then as National Claims Director. Jeff is excited with his most recent role as Corporate Claims Manager, where he has been leading The Co-operators Group of Companies in developing their national vendor strategy. Jeff is well suited to this having spent his entire professional career in Claims, all within the cooperative and mutual insurance sector; first with StateFarm Mutual, and then with Dufferin Mutual. Jeff’s keen focus on collaboration and relationship building has also led him to a number of opportunities and leadership roles in his rural community, having served as a firefighter and municipal councilor for many years. He currently sits on the Dufferin/Caledon Headwaters Communities in Action Leadership Council as Treasurer. Jeff is a graduate of the University of Guelph, and he is a certified Insurance Professional.
