Function

The Special Advisor, Toronto New Deal shall provide advice on the effectiveness of the New Deal in addressing the longer-term sustainability of the City of Toronto’s finances, and the advancement of the Province of Ontario’s priorities by the city.

Term

The Special Advisor would be appointed for an initial term ending on March 31, 2025, with the potential to be reappointed for an additional 9 months to December 31, 2025, if required.

Remuneration

The Special Advisor will be remunerated at a rate of $627 per diem for a maximum of 168 days per year.
