Function

The Special Advisor, Toronto New Deal shall provide advice on the effectiveness of the New Deal in addressing the longer-term sustainability of the City of Toronto’s finances, and the advancement of the Province of Ontario’s priorities by the city.

Term

The Special Advisor has been extended to June 30, 2026, with a potential to be extended for another six months, if required. 

Remuneration

The Special Advisor will be remunerated at a rate of $627 per diem for a maximum of 168 days per. year.
