The Special Advisor will provide impartial advice and recommendations to the Minister of Public and Business Service Delivery on matters to support the improvement of consumer protection service delivery across consumer protection programs delivered by the ministry and its administrative authorities.

The Minister may appoint the Special Advisor to serve at pleasure for a period of nine months.
- Remuneration
The Special Advisor shall be paid a remuneration rate of $800 per diem up to a maximum of $100,000 over the term of the appointment.
