The Special Advisor will support the Premier and the Minister by:
- Liaising with key representatives of the Francophone community from various sectors and regions, support community building, gain understanding of community concerns and provide relevant advice and recommendations to the Premier and the Minister.
- Acting as a point of contact for the community and identifying strategic partnerships to support the development of the Francophone community.
- Providing analysis and advice to the Premier and the Minister on government priorities, initiatives and programs, new or proposed legislative, regulatory and/or policy initiatives related to Francophone communities.

The Special Advisor does not receive remuneration.
